This value encompasses our passion in providing a first class Post 16 education experience alongside individual pastoral and career support.
About Us
Students at Invictus Sixth are challenged by a range of high-quality academic courses, taught by our very best subject specialists. Each academic year we offer a wide variety of A Level and Level 3 vocational courses. We are unlike many other providers as we allow our students to design tailored pathways of subjects. Students can choose a blend of both BTEC and A level subjects.
Our personalised meetings ensure that students are encouraged onto the appropriate career pathways which allow progression onto higher education, apprenticeships or the world of work. Next academic year we have introduced a variety of new courses requested by our students: Politics, Marketing and Sports Coaching. Students have opportunities to further develop their understanding within their subjects through field trips, visits and visiting external speakers.
Our Academies
Invictus Sixth Form students also have the opportunity to be part of our Invictus Academies within Football, Rugby, Netball or Performing Arts. Our academies combine academic study and high-quality sporting and performing arts provision. Students are able to gain qualifications including Level 1 and 2 Coaching Awards, Level 2 Officiating, Emergency First Aid, LAMDA and Safeguarding. Our academies are delivered by highly trained experienced professionals including the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Stourbridge Rugby Club and our head football coach ex-England and Tottenham Hotspur professional footballer: Andy Sinton.
Our Enrichment
We are also determined that the broader experience of being part of Invictus should be rich and varied. Our enrichment programme has been carefully planned to give students the chance to pursue other interests and qualifications in conjunction with their academic courses. The opportunities provide a basis in which students can personally develop and also enhance employability. Some examples of the enrichment we offer is: the Extended Project Qualification, the English-Speaking Board, Core Maths, Certificate in Financial Studies, Speaking English as a Foreign Language qualification, Student Council, peer mentoring and Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
Further Education Support
The vast majority of our students progress onto university or higher-level degree apprenticeships. In order to ensure success, students have a structured and comprehensive programme of support and guidance. As part of the programme students are given the opportunity to visit various universities and apprenticeship providers with opportunities to attend workshops on how to write an effective personal statement, CV and interview techniques.

Invictus Sixth Form prides itself on state-of-the-art facilities across its sites including specialist classrooms, laboratories, music studio, Esports suite, DT suite, new 3G Astro turfs, new multimillion pound sports hall, swimming pools and dedicated sixth form centres with work areas and social spaces.
Pastoral Support
One of the many features that sets Invictus Sixth Form apart from other Post 16 providers is the outstanding pastoral care we provide. Students are not merely a number amongst the crowd. As well as our highly experienced Sixth Form staff we are able to access support from other in-house and external support networks to make sure that no one is left behind and no one is left to struggle on their own. We pride ourselves in this area and truly believe that this is one of the key reasons why our students are so successful.
