City of Wolverhampton College offers a range of study options and, with industry-recognised qualifications, industry-standard training facilities and industry-experienced tutors, will enable you to develop skills and knowledge for your future career.
Do you want to…
Whatever sector you want to work in, there’s a course for you!
From automotive, bakery and childcare to science, travel and uniformed public services – and everything in between– plus creative courses in art, graphic design, media, music and performing arts, and trade qualifications in brickwork, carpentry, electrical, groundworks, painting and decorating, and plumbing – there’s something for everyone, whatever your level or ability.
Doing A-levels at college means you’ll have more subjects to choose from, can study what interests you and pick the combination that best suits your career plans – and you’ll have access to the college’s own sixth form centre, just for A-level students, too!
Gain work experience as you learn?
T Levels are new qualifications, equivalent to three A-levels, which combine classroom learning and an industry placement to give you the skills and knowledge employers are looking for.
On an apprenticeship, you’ll combine learning on-the-job working alongside experienced colleagues, with studying towards a set of occupational standards, and use your industry experience to bring your learning to life – and you’ll get paid too!
Study at a higher level?
Higher education programmes – such as HNCs, HNDs and foundation degrees – are a great alternative to going to university, with qualifications available in a number of subject areas.
