The Oswestry campus offers some of the best educational facilities in Shropshire. This includes The Scholars Restaurant, a professional teaching and commercial restaurant, and Visage, the college’s dedicated hair and beauty salons.
Some of the full-time vocational courses available on site are Access to Higher Education, Beauty, Business, Childcare, Health & Social Care, Science, Sport, and Travel & Tourism.
Walford College sits in a beautiful rural setting close to Shrewsbury. It is home to our land-based courses; our motor vehicle programmes and our Foundation Learning Centre.
The campus includes our Animal Care Centre with specialist facilities catering for 100 different species, and a large commercial farm with 220-hectares of arable land and pasture hosting our herd of 300 dairy cows and flock of Shropshire Sheep. The campus is also home to our Equestrian Centre including an indoor arena, an outdoor school, and stabling for 32 horses.

Rhianne Lee was an exceptional BTEC Applied Science student who left the college with a distinction and was the winner of the Science Student of the Year. She went on to the University of Warwick, part of the Russell Group, to study Biomedical Science.
