Success
Our teachers are experts: they are examiners, have PhDs, books to their names and backgrounds in industry.

All are committed and enthusiastic, inspiring you to work hard and enjoy your learning. It’s no surprise that King Ed’s students do very well: we send the highest number of students to Oxbridge locally, but also to other excellent destinations, including competitive higher apprenticeships, giving talented young people a head start in their careers.
Community
We plan carefully so that there are many opportunities to meet new people and find your crowd.
Students here are friendly, compassionate and committed. They fully embrace tolerance and mutual respect, and they love to express their individuality. No matter what your background, you can flourish here.
We have a highly supportive and inclusive culture, with teams of counsellors, learning support professionals, expert tutors and careers advisers, as well as regular events to keep you informed and happy at college.
Independence
King Ed’s has the feel of a mini-university, combined with caring and vigilant staff: an ideal step on the way to independence.
We are the Black Country’s only specialist A-level provider, offering 38 subjects, to create a programme that really meets your needs. Alongside, we offer over 85 extra-curricular activities.
Whether you want to be a journalist on our paper, a footballer in one of our teams, or use your creativity to make care packages for those in need, your time here will be fulfilling.
If you are looking for an educational setting at 16 that will give you a huge range of opportunities, support your needs, and inspire you to challenge yourself to succeed beyond what you think might be possible, come to one of our Open Events in October 2025!
