THE HART SCHOOL’S SIXTH FORM SETS ITS STUDENTS UP FOR FUTURE SUCCESS.

When it comes to preparing students for life beyond school, The Hart School’s Sixth Form continues to deliver impressive outcomes. Borne out of a bespoke curriculum, designed around students’ future aspirations, the Sixth Form has seen consistent improvements in its post-16 results. These include achieving a record three-year high in vocational outcomes, alongside strong A Level performances across a broad range of subjects last summer.

Principal Ms Rachael Sandham said the results reflect the school’s commitment to ensuring every student leaves ready for their next step – whether that’s university, apprenticeships or employment. Head of Sixth Form Mr Ben Brennan, pictured, said: “As a forward-thinking, innovative Sixth Form, we prepare our students for what lies ahead by offering a bespoke curriculum that incorporates a broad range of Level 3 courses tailored to the needs of each cohort. Our school’s motto is ‘We Can, We Will, We Do’, and we work closely with Sixth Formers to ensure they move forward with confidence on their chosen career path.”

The Hart School’s Sixth Form also delivers an enrichment programme designed to strengthen students’ university, apprenticeship and job applications. It also offers dedicated Sixth Form study areas, independent careers guidance and mental health and wellbeing support, visits to universities, UCAS conventions and apprenticeship fairs, and bursaries for disadvantaged students.

An ongoing investment programme at the school, which is part of Creative Education Trust and follows the HART values of “Happy, Ambitious, Resilient, Tolerant,” has included a purpose-built dance studio to support the growing demand for post-16 dance qualifications.
