Discover your ideal Sixth Form path
The transition from GCSEs to sixth form brings with it plenty of changes – but don’t worry, we are here to help give you the information you need to make sure it’s the right choice for you.
So, what can you expect from a sixth form?
Compared to GCSEs you will choose a narrower selection of courses, focused on the subjects that interest you the most. If you are thinking of going to university it’s worth considering the course you are likely to do and choose subjects that fit in with those plans.
At sixth form you will usually be able to choose courses such as A-levels and BTECs and develop skills such as independent learning, and critical thinking as you are prepared for life beyond school.
